This service is best suited for larger shipment sizes such as full home moves, with shipping containers available in 20’, 40’ and 40’ high cube sizes. Full containers which are often also referred to as sole use containers, provide a range of benefits, including: – Container load and unload directly at residence, given sufficient room for large vehicle parking – Reduced costs and risks through double handling – Faster transit as the container doesn’t need to wait for additional items to be filled – Simpler customs clearance processes in many countries Our full container shipping is inclusive of all port charges and customs clearances, as well as delivery and unpacking at your new residence.
Suited to smaller international sea freight shipments, this service involves packing your shipment into a large crate, which is then sealed and secure prior to being loaded into the shipping container. Once the shipment arrives at the destination port, it is cleared by customs and your crate is delivered to your new residence for unpacking.
Similar to LCL, groupage or consolidated shipping is suited to smaller shipments. The key difference is that the shipping container is only loaded with other Grace clients with shipments to the same destination. The transit times for this service can be considerably longer than our direct shipping options, however groupage allows us to provide cost savings and an added layer of safety. Grace provides regular and reliable groupage shipping services across all of Australia, as well as the United Kingdom, Singapore, the United States, Canada and all European destinations.
Air freight is the fastest but most expensive mode of shipping, meaning it is best left for moving critical items such as clothing, files, tools and other household items which may be required immediately upon arrival. Air freight is often used in conjunction with sea freight services. All air freight consignments must be packed and security screened by Grace’s airline security accredited staff before they can be despatched, ensuring prohibited items are not included. All Grace moving consultants are familiar with international airline regulations and will be able to provide you with expert advice.

Grace starts the moving process with an in-home consultation to discuss your needs and tailor a solution to your international move. On your moving day our experienced team of friendly movers will carefully pack your belongings, using high quality materials and proven methods to meet international shipping standards. We will also prepare your large furniture items, including disassembly, wrapping and itemisation to best ensure your items arrive in the condition they left in. Your items will be packed into a shipping container and taken to our warehouse for weighing, security sealing and reporting. A detailed Customs packing list is prepared at this time, allowing the container to be taken to the port and onto the ship for its trip. Your Moving Consultant will ensure all necessary documentation is completed to assist in a painless customs process. We will provide access to tracking systems for your shipping container and/or airline consignment, so you know where your belongings are at all times. Grace will coordinate the clearance of your shipment through customs, collect the container from the destination port and have it delivered to your new home. Our team will unpack your cartons, reassemble your furniture and place the big items where you want them.
