The Cartus 2013 Trends in Global Relocation: Biggest Challenges survey of international mobility managers has found that countries in Europe are popular destinations for multinational businesses looking to move overseas.
The region was ranked the third most popular area in the world for company relocations over the last two years, and also the third most critical to future business growth.
However, the survey also found that the region poses unique challenges for businesses planning to relocate employees, such as: controlling relocation/assignment costs; complying with laws and regulations; and housing.
