We are getting our items sent from Brisbane…

We are getting our items sent from Brisbsne to us in Waikanae Beach, finally after Grace Removals packing us up on the 8th July it left Brisbsne today. We have been very happy with the service we have received from Grace Removals staff until now. Yesterday we received an email from, Shaun Bungay, who said he was our import coordinator, and has demanded we pay a Quarantine physical check fee on our container. Very strange as it hasn't even arrived in the country yet. Also he states he will with not deliver our items until this is paid. Grace Removals NZ is this the way you treat you clients? Very unhappy and will not be recommending Grace Removals to anyone in the future.

I found Grace to be competitive on…

I found Grace to be competitive on pricing and excellent value for money. We moved a 4 bedroom house from Christchurch to Wanaka and used their storage facility for 9 months. Pickup and delivery was made to feel pretty stressless and seamless overall. They were flexible with delivery dates around our new build finishing. No breakages or major dramas. I would use them again and absolutely recommend.

Sincere thanks.

We received amazing service from Grace Removals out of Christchurch. Sally in administration was totally amazing and answered all questions promptly. Nigel the team leader was outstanding and dedicated. He was ably assisted by Andy and Francis. They were extremely well mannered, and considerate of our situation that had changed due to a sudden death in the family. Thanks guys. We also appreciated Nigels phone calls once he arrived at the destination and again to wish us well as he left. Well done Team.

Overall a good removal firm

Sales staff were really approachable and very informative, no question was too much trouble. The packing team were good overall, however the "container to container" move we were promised didn't eventuate, and our items ended up being double handled (into a removal van to take to the port to be packed into the container). There were delivery delays with shipping which were very well communicated as soon as Grace knew about them, and the local team in Christchurch kept me updated whenever any new information was available. The Delivery team was amazing, they were a team of 7 and the unloaded the container in no time at all and had the large items of furniture re-assembled within a few minutes. They confirmed with us if there were any issues and how to proceed with getting the used packaging collected once we had unpacked. Unfortunately, there were a few items damaged in the move, so I am glad we paid for insurance. The items damaged were either not wrapped or packed with due care and attention, which is a shame as everything else went very smoothly. Just claiming through insurance now and the process so far has been smooth.

Second shift in just over a year for an…

Second shift in just over a year for an older couple in poor health. Consistent with the last move, the team, with some of the familiars, turned up promptly as promised and again helped us sort out innumerable boxes and packed up the entire kitchen. Everything done carefully and thoughtfully. At the last minute, our new home was inaccessible so everything had to be put in a container for storage at Grace facility. The people, the team, and the whole organisation from Dave, the boss, always available for consultation, make this stressful process as bearable as possible. We have recommended them to many friends who have had the same experience. If there is one thing you can do to ease the stress of shifting, call Grace
