As one of New Zealand’s major charitable bodies looking after the wider community that suffers from respiratory conditions, The Asthma & Respiratory Foundation make a special effort to provide and support to the little ones. The Sailor the Puffer Fish show is an interactive musical that tours nationwide, educating primary school children with important skills, like recognising and dealing with emergency asthma attacks.
Since 2015 the Foundation has educated over 60,000 children through the Sailor Shows.
The Foundation has big plans to reach a whopping 10,000 more kids with their 40 shows planned over the next financial year. The Grace Gives grant will be used to deliver 10 of these. Exciting times. You can read more about what they do on their website.
