Anxiety New Zealand Trust received one of six Grace Gives New Zealand grants in 2017 to provide treatment, support and education for children suffering from anxiety and depression.
The Grace Gives grant they were awarded was used to grow a resiliency program for children and to train seven facilitators. These facilitators will help children manage their anxiety and depression and help them on their the journey to wellness by providing them with the best possible treatment, support and understanding.
Auckland Branch Manager, John Scott, was hosted at the Anxiety NZ headquarters by CEO Sarah Woollard and Smokey the Cat who has the very important job of comforting children.
Grace is proud to be able to help children with their journey to better mental wellbeing.
